Vancouver Whitecaps lost their home game against Pumas UNAM at BC Place on Wednesday night. The final score was 2-0.
Cesar Huerta scored for Pumas UNAM in the first half, and Jorge Ruvalcaba added another goal in the second half.
Despite the loss, the Vancouver Whitecaps still have a chance to advance to the next round of the Leagues Cup. They will need to win their next game against Seattle Sounders FC on August 14.
