Davante Adams Signs Massive Contract with Packers
4-Year, $39.3 Million Extension Includes Record-Breaking Signing Bonus
Green Bay Packers' star wide receiver Davante Adams has signed a four-year, $39,334,024 contract with $11,806,560 guaranteed in the form of a signing bonus.
The deal is the richest in Packers history and one of the most lucrative contracts ever given to a wide receiver.
Adams spent the first three seasons of his career under his rookie contract. He signed a five-year, $14.125 million contract with the Raiders in 2016.
The 28-year-old wideout is coming off the best season of his career in 2020, in which he had 119 catches for 1,374 yards and 18 touchdowns.
The Packers acquired Adams in a trade with the Raiders this offseason. The Raiders received the Packers' first-round pick (No. 22 overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft in exchange for Adams.
