23 Teams Join Germany in EURO 2024 Finals
The European Qualifiers for UEFA EURO 2024 have concluded, with 23 teams securing their place in the tournament finals to be held in Germany next summer. The qualifying competition ran from March to November 2023, culminating in play-offs in March 2024 to determine the final three participants.
Qualifying Format
The 55 UEFA member associations were divided into 10 groups, with the winners and runners-up from each group automatically qualifying for the finals. The remaining three spots were determined through play-offs involving the 12 best-performing teams that did not qualify directly.
Host Nation Germany Qualifies Automatically
As the host nation, Germany automatically qualified for the finals, bringing the total number of participating teams to 24. The tournament will be played in ten cities across Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024.
