WWE held their WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view on Sunday, May 16th, and here are the full results:
Kickoff Show:
Sheamus defeats Ricochet
Main Show:
- Raw Women's Championship Triple Threat Match: Asuka defeats Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley
- Intercontinental Championship Match: Apollo Crews defeats Big E
- Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio defeat Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode
- WWE Championship Match: Roman Reigns defeats Cesaro
The main event of the show was a hard-fought victory for Roman Reigns over Cesaro. Reigns was able to retain his WWE Championship after a back-and-forth battle.
In other action, Asuka won the Raw Women's Championship in a Triple Threat Match, while Apollo Crews retained his Intercontinental Championship against Big E. Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik also picked up a victory over Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.
WrestleMania Backlash was a night of big moments and title changes. Roman Reigns remains on top of WWE, while Asuka and Apollo Crews are your new women's and intercontinental champions, respectively.
